Hey, vode! Let’s up the ante with showing our support for the proper continuation and conclusion of The Clone Wars!

Please send in your messages of support for the series and its crew to 11ThirtyEight’s Save The Clone Wars form! For anyone who wants to send a letter, but can’t for whatever reason be it expensive international postage or you don’t have the resources to get something in the post, we will print and mail it to Disney and LFL for you!

We are compiling all of the letters and messages we’ve received so far and we would love to add whatever you’d like to say to the pile! (Just please remember to keep it civil so it can be included!)

Are you awesome and you already mailed letters? Add to the awesome and let us send another letter of support for the show for you!

Also, hit up all the social media options that SaveTheCloneWars.com offers!

We have a form set up on 11ThirtyEight.com where you can input your Name, Email (Optional), Location (Optional) and your message to Disney and LFL and we will physically mail it for you. Location, as mentioned, is optional but I think it would be great to see how far out the TCW fandom goes.

I just ask to please keep the messages polite and civil (we will screen these).

March 25th will be the end of the first batch.

Special thanks to After who will be helping out greatly in this effort.

Be it a short or long message, everything counts!

If you enjoy The Clone Wars, let your support of the show and what its crew has accomplished and planned be known!

Multiple sources have confirmed that what has officially been referred to as bonus content is not the full story and even if they were to release all of season 6 in some way that is not the originally intended end either. Content for a 7th and 8th season has been created and it would be a shame for that work to be tossed to the side.

Disney’s vision for Star Wars appears strictly focused on episode 7 and, while it may be disheartening to see that and hear news of layoffs, official and definitive announcements have not been made. It is entirely possible for fans to sway Disney’s thinking to consider allowing The Clone Wars and other shelved projects to have a continuing place in Star War’s ever growing lore!

We’re hearing, along with our friends at RebelForce Radio, that The Clone Wars team at Lucasfilm will be disbanded imminently and this is our VERY last chance so save The Clone Wars.  We were one of the first to break the news that The Clone Wars had ended and we want to be part of the group of fans that helps save it – even if it’s only a direct to Blu-ray/DVD release.

The remaining episodes that are finished or in part-production do NOT in any way wrap up the fates of the Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Darth Maul, Asajj Ventress and many others. If you want these stories to be told that we must act NOW as a community before it’s too late – time is NOT on our side.

Send letters NOW to Bob Iger, Kathleen Kenedy and George Lucas asking for a conclusion, leading into the events of Revenge of the Sith, at the addresses below.

  • Bob Iger – Disney Studios, 500 S Buena Vista St, Burbank, CA 91521
  • Kathleen Kennedy – Lucasfilm, P.O. Box 29901, San Francisco, CA 94129-0901
  • George Lucas – P.O. Box 2009, San Rafael, CA 94912

The next few days really are our last chance to save The Clone Wars and to ensure our voices as a community are heard – the time is NOW – get writing, comment on Facebook, Tweet about it – let’s ensure, as a community, we see a fitting ending to The Clone Wars.

As a friend of some of the TCW crew, the reports of the remaining episodes that will be “bonus content” not wrapping up character fates/story lines is true. Those episodes and season 6 are not the originally intended end for the series.

Sending respectful letters, emails, tweets, and posts about how you would like to see The Clone Wars be completed as intended and tie into ROTS is worth a shot!

If the Kim Possible fandom can pull it off, then the TCW fandom should be able to pull off similar tenfold.
